Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 14, 2026

FLORENDOPHARMA LLC, doing business as Alpha Amino Acids ("we," "us," or "our"), explains here how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website or use our services. Care is provided through our partner medical group, SamaritanMD. Medical providers may also provide their own Notice of Privacy Practices; this policy does not replace that notice.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide, such as your name, contact details, account credentials, location, order details, and communications. When relevant to care, we and authorized care partners collect medical history, symptoms, medications, assessment responses, prescription information, and related health information. Payment providers process payment details. We also collect device, browser, IP address, site activity, and cookie information.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate accounts and the website, communicate with you, coordinate provider evaluations and pharmacy services, process orders and payments, respond to requests, prevent fraud, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Health information is used for care and related purposes only as permitted by law. Where required, we obtain consent before collecting or using consumer health data for an additional purpose.

How We Share Information

We share information only as needed with authorized medical providers, including SamaritanMD, pharmacies, payment processors, and service providers operating under appropriate contractual obligations. We may disclose information when required or permitted by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a lawful business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections. We do not sell personal information or consumer health data, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose health information for unrelated marketing without legally required authorization or consent.

Compliance with Privacy Laws and Protected Health Information

The company complies with HIPAA and applicable state privacy and consumer health data laws in every jurisdiction it serves, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) for California residents and Washington's My Health My Data Act. Protected health information (PHI) is handled in accordance with HIPAA where applicable; consumer health data is protected under applicable state law even when it is not PHI.

Safeguarding PHI

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect PHI and other sensitive information. Access is limited to authorized personnel and care partners who need information for permitted purposes. Information is encrypted in transit. PHI is disclosed only as permitted by law, with authorization when required. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Patient and State Privacy Rights

  • You may request access to and copies of your PHI, amendment of records, and an accounting of disclosures, subject to applicable law.
  • You may request restrictions on uses or disclosures and confidential communications through reasonable alternative methods or locations. Some restriction requests may not be required to be accepted under applicable law.
  • Under applicable state law, you may have the right to know and access information collected about you, request deletion, correct inaccurate information, and withdraw consent to collection, use, or sharing of consumer health data.
  • You may opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information where applicable. We do not sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may revoke a health-information authorization prospectively; revocation does not undo permitted actions already taken.
  • We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. You may use an authorized agent where permitted and appeal a request decision where state law provides that right.

To exercise rights or raise a privacy concern, email team@alphaaminoacids.com or call (720) 818-9638. We verify identity proportionately, respond within applicable legal deadlines, and explain any lawful limitation. For records held by a medical provider, we will help direct your request to the appropriate care partner. You may also complain to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or your state regulator without retaliation.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and local storage for account sessions, security, cart preferences, and website operation. Site activity information may help us understand and maintain our services. You can manage cookies in your browser; restricting necessary cookies may affect functionality. Where required by law, we obtain consent for nonessential tracking and honor legally recognized opt-out signals. We do not use health information for targeted advertising without the required consent.

Retention and Security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, legal recordkeeping, care obligations, dispute resolution, and security. Retention periods depend on the type of information and applicable law. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to lawful exceptions. Medical records may be retained by care partners under their own legal obligations.

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in services or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy with a revised effective date and provide additional notice or request consent when required by law.
